The Student Leadership Team
The Student Leadership Team at Council Grove Elementary School is an opportunity available for all 5th and 6th grade students to apply by their choice. The application included a self-assessment and a teacher assessment of the school’s PRIDE core values and an essay about leadership. There were 31 students apply. Students were then selected to interview. Finally, 13 students were selected. The selection committee consisted of all 5th and 6th grade homeroom teachers, Mr. Finch, Mrs. Bolieu, Mrs. Bremer, and Mrs. Green. The student team will grow their leadership skills, assist with pop tab collection for the Ronald McDonald House, help plan the Sixth Grade Celebration, and more.
