The Council Grove Junior High wrestling team competed in two events in as many days, beginning Monday, Feb. 23 at the Marion tournament. The Braves finished with a combined record of 30-36 and recorded 26 pins.

VISITING THE LEGISLATURE - The local Council Grove Junior/Senior High School JAG-K program was represented at the Capitol in Topeka last Wednesday, February 18. It was JAG-K Day and the high schools with JAG-K programs were invited to attend with their Career Association officers. The officers also visited with District 17 Senator Mike Argabright. The Council Grove Braves dropped a 68-38 decision Monday night to the Burlingame Bearcats in a contest where defensive stops were difficult to secure and transition baskets proved costly.
