Lately, the world has found itself surrounded by extraordinary people doing what comes naturally to them for the sake of doing what is right. The Twin Lakes Watershed has numerous individuals that fit that description and this year’s Twin Lakes WRAPS Water Quality Award winner is one.
Several Council Grove Elementary School students were recently recognized for their Veterans Day essay contributions.
The East Central Kansas Model T Club (ECKTs) will meet at 11 a.m. on December 12 at the home of Mark and Mary Freimiller, 2033 Nebraska Rd. in Iola. Members are asked to bring a side dish to go along with the pulled pork entree. A short meeting will follow the meal time.
The Washburn University Institute of Technology has announced that Adree Honas of Council Grove is a candidate to receive certification in practical nursing upon completion of the fall 2020 semester.
